We made it.

If 2025 felt heavy, complicated, or unclear, you are not alone. Yet here you are, stepping into a new year by the grace of God with breath in your lungs and purpose still on your life.

At Mars Hill Anywhere and Mars Hill Chicago, we are declaring that this year will not be a repeat. We are believing God for fresh clarity, deeper formation, and 1% spiritual growth at a time.

I am grateful you are walking into 2026 with us. Whether you join us online each week or you sit in the room in Chicago, you are part of a growing circle of people who want real faith, real wisdom, and real change.

Let’s commit together to seek God, guard our peace, and take intentional steps toward who God is calling us to become this year.

What is Super Sunday?

Some weeks feel like a blur, and before you know it, you’re looking at the weekend again.

In the middle of all the noise, I hope you’ve found a moment to breathe and remember that God is steady even when life isn’t.

I am looking forward to this weekend because Super Sunday is back!

It’s the one Sunday a month when we all gather in the room together. We stream online every week, but once a month, we pull up in person to worship, connect, and see each other face-to-face.

It’s a different energy when we’re in the building together.

Whether you’re in the Chicago area or watching online, I want you to be part of it.

This Week’s Message: “This Year Will Not Be a Repeat”

I have had New Year energy before.

The resolutions.
The vision board.
The fresh journal.

And by March, real life hit. The dates changed. I didn’t.

This message is for anyone who is tired of starting over, tired of hoping and being disappointed, tired of watching the same patterns win again.

The truth is, you do not need another year. You need a new mind.

In this sermon, I unpack Romans 12:2 and show why transformation, not motivation, is the only thing that will make this year different.

I talk about why motivation fades but mindsets stick, what the Greek word “metamorphoo” reveals about real transformation, how to name the pattern you refuse to repeat, and how to cooperate with God’s renewing work in your thinking.

Romans 12:2 (NLT) says,

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.

This is the shift I am inviting you into as we begin 2026.
